“Sunday Night Football: Dallas Cowboys at NY Giants” on NBC at 8:30pm ET. 26th season premiere on a special night. You guys, I honestly had a brief moment of panic when I saw that “Sunday Night” there and became completely confused as to what day it actually was. Anyway, it is still Wednesday and I’m still confused (and now a bit perturbed) that they insist on calling it “Sunday Night Football” when it’s obviously not Sunday. Just call it “MOTHEREFFING FOOTBALL!!!! WOOOOOOO!!!!!” or something better. I don’t know. That’s not my job.
“Ghost Hunters” on SyFy at 9:00pm ET. Eighth season premiere. Hey! The douchebags with night vision cameras hour is back!
“Dirty Jobs” on Discovery at 10:00pm ET.
“The Democratic National Convention” at 10:00pm ET on ABC and CBS.
“The Soup” on E at 10:00pm ET. I wonder if the writers are going to mourn the loss of the clip gold-mine that was “Jersey Shore.” Honestly, they (aside from the actual “Jersey Shore” cast) are the only people I can think of who might feel sad that the show has gone off the air.
