“Suburgatory” on ABC at 8:30pm ET. This looks to be an attempt to build on the “Desperate Housewives” model of pointing out all the weird craziness that happens when you move a bunch of families out to a place where there’s really nothing to distract them from each other and the weird competitive struggles around after school extracurriculars, lawn maintenance, and ability to ‘whip up’ gourmet food on a dime for incredibly passive aggressive dinner parties. Look there, I just saved you half an hour.
“Mythbusters” on Discovery at 9:00pm ET. Tenth season premiere. I swear this show is just a way for smart people to watch shit go boom with the barest veneer of intellectual credibility. I say that like I’m not all “WOOOOO! MYTHSPOLSION!” myself.
“Happy Endings” on ABC at 9:30pm ET. Second season premiere.
“Luther” on BBCA at 10:00pm ET. Second season premiere.
“Revenge” on ABC at 10:00pm ET.
