5 Shows After Dark: I'd Say This Was "Out of This World" But Then I'd Have To Kill Myself
"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" on NBC at 9:00pm ET. Two hour 14th season premiere. Still plugging away with the sex crimes, these guys.
"Modern Family" on ABC at 9:00pm ET. Fourth season premiere.
"The Neighbors" on ABC at 9:30pm ET. Series premiere. A Sci-Fi sitcom featuring some wacky stranded aliens who use the names of famous athletes, cry green goo out of their ears, and receive nourishment through reading (sounds like the Pajibans). It's "Alf" for the... what are we calling this decade anyway? Someone get back to me on that.
"How Booze Built America" on Discovery at 10:00pm ET. I watched the first installment of this and it was excellent. Mike Rowe swore, drank, talked about history, and sang. Because Discovery didn't provide one, I went through and made a drinking guide for the show after I watched it and plan to do the same tonight. So if you're on the West Coast or a DVR fan you can look forward to having that while you watch.
"South Park" on Comedy Central at 10:00pm ET. 16th season fall premiere.
Genevieve Burgess Is thrilled to have worthwhile television to write about again. At least for the moment.
