"The Amazing Race" on CBS at 8:00pm ET. 19th season premiere.

"The Simpsons" on Fox at 8:00pm ET. 23rd season premiere. This is acting as a stand-in for that whole two hour animation block on Fox that comes back tonight, including "Family Guy," "American Dad," and "The Cleveland Show." I only listed "The Simpsons" because they kick off the whole mess and because I knew it would anger BarbadoSlim.

"Boardwalk Empire" on HBO at 9:00pm ET. Second season premiere.

"The Good Wife" on CBS at 9:00pm ET. Third season premiere.

"Pan Am" on ABC at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. Carrying on the trend of attempting to rip off "Mad Men" by setting their shows in the same era and ignoring all the reasons people actually watch "Mad Men." Those reasons are, obviously, Jon Hamm and Christina Hendricks.

Please remember to check your local listings for all times and channels.
