5 Shows After Dark: Sheriff Mills's Expression Here is Probably the Best Thing About This Show

Monday Night Football: Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals on ESPN at 8:40pm ET.

American Ninja Warrior on NBC at 9:00pm ET. Fifth season finale.

Sleepy Hollow on Fox at 9:00pm ET. Series premiere. As networks begin mining every semi-popular bit of supernatural fiction they can get their hands on. It is, of course, a “modern day” version of the Sleepy Hollow myth where Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman wake up in 2013. And Fox is attempting to create an even greater “fish out of water” dynamic by having black actress Nicole Beharie play the sheriff. So expect a lot of scenes involving Ichabod marveling at technology and being old-timey sexist/racist to his sheriff partner. Fun for everyone! John Cho and Orlando Jones are also featured.

Under the Dome on CBS at 10:00pm ET. First season finale. Oh no! What will happen? I have no idea, as I stopped watching weeks ago. However, as a second season has been announced I’m gonna go ahead and guess that they dome stays put.

Siberia on NBC at 10:01pm ET. First season finale.

Genevieve Burgess had to send her laptop to the computer hospital, so this entire week’s worth of columns was written on Sunday from her parent’s computer. Enjoy whatever unintentional hilarity may happen.

What kind of clowns do they have in computer hospital?

  • F'mal DeHyde

I'm embarrassed to admit it but I've really enjoyed Siberia. I hope there's a second season.

  • Bert_McGurt

Fun fact: my fiancee's friend played the tribe's translator in last week's episode.

  • F'mal DeHyde

That is fun! She was good.

  • Maguita NYC

Imma give Sleepy Hallow a chance. Maybe it's unintentionally funny and would take my mind off finals. Exams that is. Not. Football.

  • fribbley

I'm sure it's not cool to admit this, but I'm excited about Bones being back tonight.

I guess this means NBC is about to take its "The Voice" fallback position...

  • IngridToday

I was interested in Sleepy Hollow when it was first announced (I know it's by different people but I love Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow) But why set it in modern day? It's be way more interesting dealing with a crazy magic infested Puritan town.
Instead they went for the lazy 'set it in Modern time so we can have horrible jokes" .... in the trailer Crane asked the African American detective if she was set free..... and jokes about how there lots of Starbucks...ugh

Mmm...pumpkin spice latte. (what? I need to stay awake during my friend's Shaw play.)
