5 Shows After Dark: Olympics: Looking More Like the X Games Every Four Years.
"2012 Olympic Summer Games" on NBC at 8:00pm ET. Final in the men's 200m, semi-finals and finals in women's platform diving, women's semi-final in Volleyball between South Korea and the USA, and quarterfinal in men's BMX cycling.
"Monday Night Football: Preseason: Green Bay Packers at San Diego Chargers" on ESPN at 8:00pm ET. It always makes me twitch that they still call it "Monday Night Football" even when it's on Thursday. Also, tonight's game is notable for including a female officiant as line judge Shannon Eastin will be on the field. This is because of a contract dispute between the NFL and the regular NFL referees, but, you know, still nice to see.
"Misfits" on Logo at 10:00pm ET.
"Louie" on FX at 10:30pm ET.
"Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell" on FX at 11:00pm ET. Another sort of loose form stand up-ish show, produced by Chris Rock. Also, I've never understood people going by their middle name who still list their first initial. Looks awkward to me, and since I'm not aware of any Kamau Bell (and indeed, googling such only turns up results for W. Kamau Bell) it doesn't seem like it's necessary for differentiation. So I just I'll just stay confused.
