“The Newsroom” on HBO at 10:00pm ET.

“Political Animals” on USA at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. For those of you feeling a need for more Sigourney Weaver in your life, this should satisfy that need for at least the scheduled four episodes. Also, this is 82 minutes long because USA says screw you and your constrictive ideas about television time blocks, man!

“Black Dynamite” on Adult Swim at 11:30pm ET. Series premiere. Now I’m picturing Walt up there going “But Black Dynamite, I sell drugs to the community!” That would be a badass cross over though, right?
