5 Shows After Dark: Dog Whisperer In the City
"Dogs In the City" on CBS at 8:00pm ET. Series premiere. A new reality series about a dog trainer AND behavioralist who works with dogs in Manhattan. Because god forbid we call excellent dog trainers just plain excellent dog trainers. Adding "behavioralist" really drives the point home. I wonder if the inclusion of that term has more to do with trainers who wanted to set themselves apart from the pack or wealthy clients who wouldn't trust their fur-babies to "just" a dog trainer. Probably a little of both.
"So You Think You Can Dance" on Fox at 8:00pm ET.
"America's Next Top Model" on The CW at 9:00pm ET. 18th season finale. Another season ends and the show's slow decline into being set completely in Tyra-Land or Model-land or whatever she calls the delusions she's projecting onto the real world continue unabated, at least until one of the contestants gets smart and sues for psychological (and in some cases physical) abuse. In the words of Chief Wiggum, why are the pretty ones always crazy?
"Hatfields & McCoys" on History at 9:00pm ET.
"The Soup" on E at 10:00pm ET.
