“House” on Fox at 8:00pm ET. Two hour series finale.
“American Ninja Warrior” on NBC at 9:00pm ET. I think it’s going to take about five years for television executives to figure out that things that are popular on the internet don’t really translate well to being popular on TV. You’d think they would have learned from the “Shit My Dad Says” debacle. Mostly because the internet represents a much smaller population segment than we (I refer here to the people of the internet, since I am one) would like to believe. We’re just louder. And for some reason have tricked news outlets into thinking that Twitter is somehow a viable source for the mood of The People. Anyway, we already have “Wipeout” so I’m not sure how this will fare.
“Clash of the Commercials: USA vs. The World” on CBS at 10:00pm ET. I’m amazed these specials still exist even after so many people bought special boxes to help them avoid seeing commercials at all, ever.
“Kurt Sutter’s Outlaw Empires” on Discovery at 10:00pm ET. This week is actual bikers. I’m going to bet that none of them are as nice to look at as Jax Teller.
“Richard Hammond’s Crash Course” on BBCA at 10:00pm ET.
