5 Shows After Dark: Disco Isn't Dead, It's a Zombie

"Glee" on Fox at 8:00pm ET. Tonight's "Glee" is a disco episode, and I'll insert my standard eye roll here about inflicting previous generation's shitty music on teenagers who could have blissfully gone through life without ever encountering disco outside of a 20th century popular music course. (Other people take those, right?) Seriously, Boomers, is it just that because you suffered now we all have to suffer too? We have our own shitty pop music! Some of it even has silly costumes and dances! I'm all for personal nostalgia and reflection, but there's no good reason any child who's currently a high school senior would do a disco number by choice. Hell, Mr.Schue is too young to have been a real disco fan so it doesn't even make sense for him to assign it. Matthew Morrison was born in 1978, disco was over by the time he was in elementary school. Let it go. Please.

"Cougar Town" on ABC at 8:30pm ET.

"Ringer" on The CW at 9:00pm ET. First season finale. Did anyone stick this out? And if you did, is it actually because the show became something other than a long form example on green screen abuse or misguided affection for Buffy?

"Raising Hope" on Fox at 9:31pm ET. Second season finale.

"Private Practice" on ABC at 10:00pm ET. New time slot for this show, because that's the best way to keep your fan base happy!

Genevieve Burgess had to get her entire damned hard drive replaced this week and lost all her previous sign offs. Suggestions for new ones are welcome.
