5 Shows After Dark
"Criminal Minds" on CBS at 9:00pm ET. There's been a disturbing trend on this show involving orange-ish foundation on the dudes that I've detailed a bit more over here and I may have to do a follow up soon because I'm seeing it in a lot of places. Yes, I did refer to makeup as a 'disturbing trend' on a show that routinely features disemboweled corpses. I'm an American, bloody corpses only shock me if I can see their nipples.
"Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23" on ABC at 9:30pm ET. Series premiere. I've come the conclusion that sitcom teams are terrible at coming up with titles, and this one is an excellent example because it's supposed to be all cutesy and rhyming, but that only works if you don't actually sound out the word that "B" stands for. If you do, it doesn't rhyme, because "bitch" would rhyme better with 26 but "Don't Trust the B----- In Apartment 26" doesn't rhyme. So, infuriating. ANYWAY, the first two episodes are already available on Hulu and I watched the first one and it's not terrible and makes the best use of James Van Der Beek as James Van Der Beek that I've seen since that Ke$ha video. They went too quick with the soft gooey center reveal, though, so we'll see how that plays out.
"Law and Order: Did Someone Say Rape?" on NBC at 10:00pm ET. 13th season spring premiere.
"Psych" on USA at 10:00pm ET. Sixth seaosn finale.
Genevieve Burgess has two degrees and far too much time on her hands.
