5 Shows After Dark

"Dancing With the Stars" on ABC at 8:00pm ET. 14th season premiere. In the list of shows that always amaze me with how many people they can dig up to appear on them, "Dancing With the Stars" is right above "16 and Pregnant" and right below "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant." Apparently, America is abundant in people with questionable pregnancies who feel the need to discuss those pregnancies on television and questionable 'celebrities' who feel the need to pursue anything that keeps them in front of a camera up to and including mug shots and/or porn.

"House" on Fox at 8:00pm ET.

"How I Met Your Mother" on CBS at 8:00pm ET.

"RuPaul's Drag Race" on Logo at 9:00pm ET.

"Hawaii Five-0" on CBS at 10:00pm ET. James Caan showed up on an episode a couple weeks ago, and Ed Asner is in this week's episode. If they're not careful, this show is going to turn into the television equivalent of a Florida retirement community. Since Florida retirement communities are their target demographic, that's probably not a bad thing.
