5 Shows After Dark
"Parks and Recreation" on NBC at 8:30pm ET. I know a lot of you were looking forward to having this show back so here it is! Yay!
"The Vampire Diaries" on the CW at 8:00pm ET.
"Grey's Anatomy" on ABC at 9:00p ET.
"Archer" on FX at 10:00pm ET. I think last week Mallory Archer sealed her position in the "Worst TV Moms Ever" list that someone somewhere has already made or is planning to make eventually. She actually reminds me a bit of Jonas Venture Senior in that she's apparently really good at a lot of other things, but absolutely shit at being a parent. And then I remember that I miss "Venture Brothers." Damn.
"More Than a Month" on PBS at 10:00pm ET. This is a documentary about one black man's crusade to end Black History Month. Most of it was filmed during February of 2010, but there is a more recent epilogue to the film. I agree with him that it might send the message that black history is somehow separate from American history, but I've also found that most American history textbooks don't cover many black innovators, writers, political activists, or other noteworthy black citizens so until they do it seems necessary.
