“Glee” on Fox at 8:00pm ET. The preview for this episode, among other things, has led me to believe that we should put a moratorium on Michael Jackson covers for the next two years or so.

“Wife Swap” on ABC at 9:00pm ET. Seventh season finale. Tonight’s celebrities are Mick “Mankind” Foley and Antonio Sabato Jr. First of all, a cursory search has revealed that Mr.Sabato Jr. is not currently married so the title is misleading right off the bad. Still, the special lady friend of Mr.Sabato Jr. who is taking part in this exchange is in for a treat because I understand that Mr.Foley is an extremely decent and kind-hearted individual when he’s not playing with sock puppets or beating people with chairs.

“Justified” on FX at 10:00pm ET.

“Southland” on TNT at 10:00pm ET.

“Tosh.0” on Comedy Central at 10:00pm ET. Fourth season premiere. Another season of television for people too lazy to make fun of YouTube videos on their own. Hooray!

Mick Foley really is the most likeable person in the world. He's the type of guy that will make you want to punch Tom Hank's mom right in the baby maker.

Hope Mick is doing well. Hey! Why doesn't he have his own reality show? He'd be funnier to watch than the Karassian Krew.

Gen make that happen!

I really thought that was Christian Bale all covered with hair until I read the blurb. Mick's looking pretty good for all the crap he's put himself through in the ring!

Yea, I think Foley is supposed to be pretty damn intelligent and caring, even if he's also crazy.

Got to meet the man once, and he really is the cuddliest, friendliest guy in the world, which is amazing considering the BRUTAL industry he made his living at, and him being one of the bloodiest performers in it. He's truly in a league of his own.

Heck, Mick's even a decent and kind-hearted guy even when he IS playing with sock puppets and bashing people's heads in with chairs. From all accounts, he's about the only guy in wrestling that nobody has any beefs with.

Oh my god.. you guys.. that hell in a cell match against the Undertaker?

You guys- oh my god.

watch "Behind the Match". You get to see Mick's family going through hell as he wrestles and how much of a Christmas fan he is.

Honestly, more Mick Foley, less Kardashian.

Mick Foley is in a new youtube show called Undisputed. It isn't all that great and it does seem pretty catered to wrestling fans but still...

Foley is God.

Also did you mean Beyond The Mat Fredo?

Surprised so many people like Mick Foley. Then again, Mick Foley is pretty awesome.

Everything I ever needed to know about Mick Foley, I learned from two things:

A) The Hell-in-a-Cell match against The Undertaker. Wrestling is fake, but this certainly isn't.
B) The Slate.com article Foley wrote about Tori Amos. Yes - Tori Amos (http://www.slate.com/articles/arts/culturebox/2010/09/the_wrestler_and_the_cornflake_girl.single.html)

Man's a legend and better yet, a really good guy.

I love Mick Foley. Remember when he came on The Daily Show to threaten some people who were bullying a kid?

I saw that documentary too. Watching his family watch him was heartbreaking. He seems like an awesome guy who just happens to have an insane job.

Oh Jaime, thank you so much for posting the link to that article. It was remarkable.

Mick is one of my closest friends. He really is the nicest most caring person ever. Nice to see he gets much pajiba love. Here we are at my wedding. He even did a reading from calvin and hobbes for us. http://laurengoldberg.net/Clients/WeddingFamilyPortraits/content/201217_Wedding_436_large.html

I don't know what's cooler: Having a totally awesome friend (who happens to be famous), or that fact that you are the kind of person who has a reading from Calvin and Hobbes at your wedding. And to think we chickened out of having Rainbow Connection as our first dance.

This is going to seem an odd connection, but I think Foley is kind of like Tim Gunn. It is clear whenever you see either of them that they are genuinely good, kind people.

How about a SRL of celebrities we love regardless of what their work is?

Hehe we also had karaoke for the reception, so I don't think we did a lot of things very typically. My mom was so confused when I told her Mick was going to come down for the ceremony and do a reading. She was like, he isnt going to smash any heads right? Silly mom. Foley is the kind of guy who would literally give you the shirt of his back if he thought it would make your life better. He regularly volunteers on the online help line for RAINN to counsel victims of sexual abuse. He also donates tons of his own money to so many charitable causes, but what impresses me the most is how he donates his time.

I thought it was just me, but that opening number made me sad. I quit Glee last year, so I wasn't sure if it was the fact I don't like the show anymore or if I'm saddened to hear others "sing" MJ's songs.
