5 Shows After Dark
"2012 NFL Pro Bowl" on NBC at 7:00pm ET.
"18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards" on TBS and TNT
"Luck" on HBO at 9:00pm ET. Series premiere. This is a series about horse racing that the HBO website describes as "provocative" which, I kind of hope not but hey that's their business. Dustin Hoffman and Dennis Farina star, but the really big news here for (I suspect) the majority of my readers is that before the shows there's going to be teaser trailers for both the new season of "True Blood" and the second season of "Game of Thrones". So start your DVRs about five minutes early if either of those are your thing.
"Downton Abbey" on PBS at 9:00pm ET. I can't tell you how many times I've accidentally typed this as "Downtown" and had to go back and fix it. Then xkcd addressed this issue perfectly. I'm never going to be able to be exasperated at myself or anyone else again because it'll just turn into me humming "Sexy and I Know It" to myself.
"Shameless" on Showtime at 9:00pm ET.
