5 Shows After Dark: Review Your Survival Plan With Your Family Before Friday!

"First Freedom: The Fight for Religious Liberty" on PBS at 8:00pm ET. This is a special where re-enactors depict the Founding Fathers and how they raised the ideal of religious freedom to the level of a fundamental human right.

"Happy Endings" on ABC at 9:00pm ET. Third season fall finale.

"Don't Trust the B---- in Apt. 23" on ABC at 9:30pm ET. Second season fall finale.

"Discovery Special: Zombie Apocalypse" on Discovery at 10:00pm ET. So who has "Zombie Apocalypse" in the end of the world pool? I mean, I'm thinking the smart money is still on "nothing's going to happen" but the odds on "the world rolls off the back of the turtle" are so long I'm betting the pay off would be AMAZING. If, you know, you were alive to make use of it.

"Vegas" on CBS at 10:00pm ET. First season fall finale. I thought for sure this was one of those shows that was going to be unceremoniously dumped sometime in January but it looks like it got a full 21 episode season at least. I suppose Dennis Quaid is a bigger draw with the CBS audience than I thought.

Genevieve Burgess is making her list and checking it twice.

Comments Are Welcome, Bigots and Trolls Are Not

  • Ignatz

Dear lord, when did Discovery Channel become the cable version of The Weekly World News?

  • My money is on grey goo. Basically we invent something like a self replicating solar cell or a super breed of wheat that completely fucks up the global ecosystem.

  • John W

My money has always been on and always will be on an asteroid crashing into Earth and killing everybody. Or at least all the people who watch reality TV shows.

But that's why they removed the space shuttles from service and sent those mock-ups to the space centers-for a secret mission to destroy that asteroid. Anybody seen Bruce Willis lately?
