“The Bachelor” on ABC at 8:00pm ET. 16th season premiere.

“How I Met Your Mother” on CBS at 8:00pm ET. Seventh season winter premiere.

“Hoarders” on A&E at 9:00pm ET. House looking a little cluttered after the holidays? Watching this will either make you feel way better about your definition of clutter, or inspire you to stay up until 3am eliminating every bit of useless crap from your house. Possibly by fire.

“Hawaii Five-0” on CBS at 10:00pm ET. Second season winter premiere.

“It’s a Brad, Brad World” on Bravo at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. In the trend of reality shows continuing to spawn more of themselves, (VH1 is so far the worst about this as the endless downward spiral of dating shows they were running for a while proved) this show features the former assistant of Rachel Zoe, Brad Goreski, who is attempting to launch his own career as a celebrity stylist. I’m not sure I’d be up for taking style advice from a man who seems inordinately fond of suspenders (or “braces” if you’re Grandpa Simpson), bowties, and chunky black framed glasses. But then again, I’m not a celebrity .

That jacket seems to be shiny.

TheOtherGreg, I think the photographer caught Brad in the act of being beamed up.

No matter how hard you try Brad, Zachary Quinto will always do it better.

All of the Dandy flavour of hipsters need to be shipped somewhere cold so that the Urban Lumberjack flavour of hipsters can take them out with their artisanal axes. Then, when the Urban Lumberjacks are celebrating their blood soaked victory with ironic beer, they can all be easily corralled and forced to make a choice: stop being (un-bro) douches, or pay the ultimate price.

Groundloop, you have given this whole "flavour of hipsters" thing a lot of thought. I raise my glass to you...and back slowly away.

I have not tasted all that many hipsters, myself...

We always laugh at the Bachelors commercial of the crying women. The wife wonders how they keep finding women that dumb. I remind her of Mr. P.T. Barnum.

Gawd how I hate the Bachelor shows. Those people turn into screeching animals competing over someone they don't even know well enough to decide if he or she is worth all the angst. It is so, so dumb. It makes me embarrassed, sad, and angry that kids see that and think that is how adults act when dating.
