5 Shows After Dark: Let's Just Give These Two a Show, Leave the Amateurs at Home

By Genevieve Burgess | Miscellaneous | January 16, 2013 | Comments ()

"American Idol" on Fox at 8:00pm ET. 12th season premiere. Oh, excellent. This is back ensure that Fox doesn't have to figure out actual programming for about three solid months. However, the Nicki Minaj/Mariah Carey dynamic holds some promise as far as entertainment possibilities go.

"Arrow" on The CW at 8:00pm ET. First season winter premiere.

"Criminal Minds" on CBS at 9:00pm ET. Eighth season winter premiere. You guys, ever since I saw this picture a day or two ago I've been giggling every time I think of it. Oh, Shemar Moore, you're so pretty.

"American Horror Story" on FX at 10:00pm ET.

"Dangerous Persuasions" on Investigation Discovery at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. This is a new show about people who were manipulated into committing crimes for others. Tonight's episode is about a woman who spied on people for the Church of Scientology. Interestingly enough, this highly anticipated book about Scientology is released tomorrow. I'm sure that's just a happy coincidence.

Genevieve Burgess will be writing the date wrong for the next two months.

Comments Are Welcome, Bigots and Trolls Are Not

If Crazy Sam Jackson replaced Shemar Moore on Criminal Minds, I might actually start watching it. That would be some great shit.

Better idea: put these two in the Thunderdome to finally duke it out, leave the survivor in there and go home.

  • And following Arrow, Supernatural, thus fulfilling my weekly quotient of unrealistically pretty men doing violent, sometimes gory, things.

  • F'mal DeHyde

    Supernatural needs more shirt removal.

  • Well, there was at least some shirtlessness, but not nearly enough. I may send letters of protest. On the other hand, Arrow can't seem to keep his on, but I'm finding I'd rather look at Diggle sans shirt.

  • F'mal DeHyde

Oh yes, Diggle was a very pleasant surprise.

  • Amen!
