5 Shows After Dark

"Nova: The Fabric of the Cosmos: Quantum Leap" on PBS at 9:00pm ET.

"Happy Endings" on ABC at 9:30pm ET. This show makes me so happy. I've seen a lot of people taking aim at the character of Max as just being an asshole and why don't they call him out on it, but I've had so many friend groups where there was just that one person who seemed incapable of having a conversation without being a dick at some point. It got dealt with the same way every time; everyone would have a quiet moment of reflecting on what a dick they were, and then would go about their business which seems to be basically what the "Happy Endings" group does so... yeah. I get it.

"American Horror Story" on FX at 10:00pm ET.

"South Park" on Comedy Central at 10:00pm ET. 15th season finale.

"Lady Hoggers" on A&E at 10:30pm ET. Series premiere. Now, the show before this one is "American Hoggers" which actually does feature a lady as one of the central "characters"* but I suppose female hogging enthusiasts wouldn't realize that the show was geared towards them unless it had a gender specific noun in the title. And now the male viewers know that "American Hoggers" is geared towards them because if it wasn't, why bother making "Lady Hoggers"? Because the hogging enthusiasts community is large and diverse enough to support two hogging shows on the same channel. If you'll excuse me, there's a wall I need to bash my head into now.

*I don't like referring to people in reality shows as "stars" because, you know, but referring to them as "characters" seems to be wrong too. There's got to be a term I'm missing that would work here but for the life of me I can't think of it. Any suggestions?

Please remember to check your local listings for all times and channels.
