“Monday Night Football: San Diego Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs” on ESPN at 8:30pm ET.

“Bored to Death” on HBO at 9:00pm. Since my mocking of this show and its fan base earned me a thorough but non-fun tongue lashing I’ll do penance by listing it from now on. My apologies.

“Hoarders” on A&E at 9:00pm ET.

“The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” on CBS featuring Zooey Deschanel, Neil Gaiman, and Amanda Palmer. Check local listings for time. This line up is interesting to me because of the clash of two very distant ends of the indie spectrum in the form of Zooey and Amanda ending up on the same program. I’m picturing a “Highlander” type situation here because how can you not? Amanda would totally win. Zooey looks too wan and uncoordinated to be a serious threat, and those big eyes of hers are just a liability.

“Conan” on TBS at 11:00pm ET featuring Jimmy Fallon and Reggie Watts. Back in New York City and ready to perform an on-air same sex marriage ceremony! I can’t find out reliably when said marriage is supposed to happen, sadly.

I don't know who Amanda Palmer is, but a quick google tells me she looks tougher, but her fancy costumes might get in the way. I'm betting on Zooey.

Amanda Palmer is awesome. And she's married to Neil Gaiman, who's also awesome. You know who's not awesome? Zooey. I don't get it, she looks like a galago and acts like an idiot. What's so fucking cute about that?

I don't know who's more annoying, Amanda Palmer or Zooey Deschanel. I'm betting on Gaiman for the win, no regrets.

Fancy costumes, TheOtherGreg? Amanda performs in a corset and black pants, maybe a jacket. Much more practical than mock-1950s silhouettes on Zooey.

And I disagree on the Highlander scenario. Amanda loves collaborating with people who are nothing like her. She might force Zooey into a project about Godtopus knows what by the end of that show.
