“Raising Hope” on Fox at 8:00pm ET.

“Happy Endings” on ABC at 9:00pm ET. I’m not thrilled about a couple of the story lines they’re apparently intent on pursuing this season, but I’m so happy to have the show back in general that I’ll deal. Anyway, last year’s Halloween episode was excellent so I have high hopes for them this year.

“The Mindy Project” on Fox at 9:30pm ET.

“Private Practice” on ABC at 10:00pm ET. I think even the show’s writers have sort of given up on this, because tonight’s episode bears the inspired and labored over title of “The Next Episode.” Brilliant!

“Sons of Anarchy” on FX at 10:00pm ET. Ugh. Speaking of things which make you afraid to peek through your fingers. This show, you guys. THIS SHOW.
