5 Shows After Dark

"Man Up!" on ABC at 8:30pm ET. Series premiere. Gentleman of Pajiba, I have to ask; does it bother you at all that the entertainment industry seems so heavily invested in this concept of guys who just want to sit around in boxers eating doritos and playing video games and/or discussing fantasy football all the time? Most of you probably like some or all of those things but I also like chocolate and shoe shopping but I know I don't like it when women are portrayed as wanting nothing more in life than to go shoe shopping every day before relaxing with a big box of chocolate. I am more than my leisure time activities and I'm betting most of you men are as well.

"Gene Simmons Family Jewels" on A&E at 9:00pm ET. Settle in, wedding watchers, because you've got a full THREE HOURS of this show tonight.

"Sons of Anarchy" on FX at 10:00pm ET.

"Reed Between the Lines" on BET at 10:00pm ET.

"Unforgettable" on CBS at 10:00pm ET. Something about this concept of a detective with photographic memory kept bugging me as something I'd seen before and I finally remembered; Dr.Reid on "Criminal Minds" has an eidetic memory which is the ability to recall not only visual information but rather a full and complete rendering of the actual event in question with extreme precision. So... better than a photographic memory. My point being, CBS is now ripping off its own shows with these new procedurals which is rather unsurprising. Also, I love Dr.Reid.

Please remember to check your local listings for all times and channels.

Intern Rusty is contemplating a new internet moniker. You can find out more about her at Rusty's Ventures and get makeup tips from her at Hot Ink.
