Ryan Reynolds' Twitter and Instagram Prove He's Got This 'Deadpool' Guy Figured Out

By Jodi Smith | Marvel Movies | May 11, 2015 |

Some people may have been worried that giving Deadpool his own movie would end badly. Perhaps these people pointed to the utter devastation wrought upon fans at the unholy abomination Wolverine: Origins tried to pass off as our favorite mercenary. Some people may have even been doubtful that Ryan Reynolds would be able to undo what that rancid excuse for a movie did to Deadpool.

If you’ve been following Ryan Reynolds on Twitter (@VancityReynolds) or Instagram, then you already know that he’s got a real handle on the quirks and personality of one Wade Wilson and his brain voices. I’ve gathered together some gems you may have missed, what with your lack of obsession and spare time.

Today we got this Instagram captioned “Stuck the landing. With my mouth.

For Mother’s Day? “#Deadpool: A motherfucker since 1991. #happymamasday”

When the comics “killed” Deadpool, Reynolds tweeted “Smells like someone died up in here. #alivepool

On the fan-named Barakapool from that Wolverine garbage: “Thought-bubbles would really come in handy ‘bout now. #tbt #barakapool”

My thoughts exactly upon hearing the character name: “Negasonic Teenage Wat-The-Shit?!

The names of Deadpool’s katanas:

And, of course, the soon-to-be-already-totally-a-classic first look at Deadpool in his fightin’ duds: “With great power, comes great irresponsibility. #deadpool #officialsuit @deadpoolmovie”

I AM EXCITE FOR FEBRUARY 12, 2016!
