Mere days after I endured Starbuck’s troubling Unicorn Frappuccino®, news arose that the nationwide coffee chain has new flavors designed to lure me back.

Mint. Smore. These were words that spoke of flavor, not magical mystical beasts who’ve mysteriously inspired grotesque food trends that turn everything from desserts, to gravy, and even toast into an “edible” children’s art project, dripping in glitter and rainbow colors.
Still. My stomach grumbled at the memory of the Starbuck’s Unicorn. But I valiantly soldiered forth, braving the sunny spring day, the short line, and the disinterest of the cashier! I came, I ordered, I conquered!
With trepidation, I sipped. And hey! It tastes like a Thin Mint with a coffee aftertaste! It was nice. It was refreshing. It felt like a treat and didn’t hurl me into existential dread!
