Since DC comics is desperately trying to catch up to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there is already a planned Superman movie after Superman vs. Batman: Maybe Everyone Needs Some Anti-Depressants. Now it’s rumored that George Miller of Mad Max and also Happy Feet will be directing that follow-up movie.

Now, this early in the process this rumor has all the credence as what your friend heard from that guy at the comic shop who was a PA on one of the Christopher Reeves Superman movies back in the day. But it’s exciting and thinking about a George Miller directed Superman movie is definitely fun. Especially if he can bring some of the color and subtle humor from Mad Max to the DC universe because my god those people need some help lightening up in more ways than one.
