Our very own Manny, Eloquent Extraordinaire, suggested today’s comment diversion, asking what are your favorite movie recipes. “By movie recipes, I mean concoctions they put together to munch on whilst enjoying said entertainment.”

Personally, as a terribly superstitious person, I always have a Cherry Icee with my movie, usually with nothing else. I fear that if I ever stop ordering them, my ability to write reviews will completely dry up. Manny’s movie recipes are a lot more entertaining:

“1. Gummi bears mixed with Pepsi/Coke - the soda eats off the outer Gummi skin, leaving a gooey, vaguely bear shaped substance behind. Plus, it gives the soda a nice, fruity flavor. It’s a win-win…unless you’re my teeth, then it’s more like, “Ahhhh! It burns ussss!”!

“2. Sour Patch Kids and Fruit Punch - again with the dissolving of the outer skin and sour crystals, but the kids don’t get as gooey as the bears, so they’re a lot easier to grab and consume.

“3. And the ultimate movie snack… Red Vines as soda straws! The soda eats away at the inner lining of the “straw”, slowly turning Pepsi into Cherry Pepsi, or what have you. And once the straw is too corroded to continue, you simply remove it, consume, and replace it with a new one. Kind of like a wife.”

So, we pass the question off to you: What do you like to wash down with your viewing experience?

Let's Go Out to the Lobby, and Grab Ourselves a Snack!
