More "Chuck" Means More Spy Shit, blah blah blah, Hot Blonde Chick
Episode Orders / Seth Freilich

yvonne-strahovski.jpgEven though the second season of “Chuck” has not yet begun its run, NBC has given the show a leap of faith by picking up the back nine episodes, meaning the show will get a full second season to continue the work it started with last fall’s strike-shortened season. Although creator Josh Schwartz says we can mostly forget about Season One:

And we’ve designed the season premiere almost like a pilot…. We’ve got to treat this as a network launch. We come out swinging. In terms of action, this is as big as a pilot.

Meanwhile, NBC’s Executive VP of Entertainment says this pickup has to do with giving the show a fair shake to meet the producer’s vision. But we all know that’s horseshit, right?

I mean, just look at Yvonne Strahovski, would you? A full season that on my television … yes please, and can I have some more?

I've never heard of this.

Is it in ANY way related to that girl in the picture getting plowed repeatedly in exotic locations around the globe?

If not then I've no use for it.

I feel like the network execs want me to like Chuck more than I do. "Look, virgin! He's a nerd like you!"

I love Chuck, but mostly because I love Casey. So angry, so pretty.

Heehee.
I feel almost exactly the same way. Especially since I work in a software support position at my University so the call is more, "Hey dweeb! You've always wanted to be a spy; here's a geek that deals with technophobes and international espionage!"

Plus, I saw/said hello to Zachary Levi while in LA over the summer and it confirmed everything I'd ever assumed about his adorableness/niceness (he's a total 10 in both).

Sooo I may have to get back into da show.

I like this show because Adam Baldwin is adorably mean. But he would be more adorably mean with less clothes on.

Having watched all of the first season I can safely say that crushingly-hot chicks is the only thing that this show has done well consistently. The plot is generally outlandish and unlikely, but whenever they want to throw eye-candy at you they knock it out of the park. And the main hot-chick/girlfriend interest for our nerd herd hero is the hottest of them all. She's like the Queen of Hot Chicks on this show.

I'm in for season two. Even if I have to watch it on mute.

This news pleases me.

Chuck got better and better last season as it found its groove, and I'm glad the network likes it enough to give it another full go-around.

this show lost me at the pilot last year, when it made the geek in me want to shoot myself. Stealing a computer for an email? Porn making a computer explode?

I'm happy they decided to pick this one up again, partly because I found it managed to do the whole comedy/action thing quite well, and stayed light on the drama. Also happy because of the whole Firefly cast member thing (they should always get whatever they want to make up for the destruction of that series).
But like everyone else I'm mostly happy because damn those girls were hot!
