What We Can Expect From Round Two of Jimmy Fallon: New Dad
There was some big news in the Fallon household today.
Due to unexpected but delightful circumstances, there will not be new episodes tonight or Thursday evening. http://t.co/21Ez3dm6M9— Fallon Tonight (@FallonTonight) December 4, 2014
Jimmy and his wife Nancy welcomed their new baby Frances Cole into the world. Congratulations Fallons! But of course at a time like this, it’s important to think about those of us on the outside, the fans, who have absolutely nothing to do with this event but still want to feel included. What can WE expect? Well, this is not Fallon’s first child. Last year Winnie Rose was born, and based that monumental happening in all of our lives, here’s what we’re in store for.
We’ll get a lot of sharing. With Winnie, Jimmy was like any new dad. Showing us pictures and videos any chance he could. And we loved it.
But remember Jimmy isn’t a regular dad. He’s a cool dad.
Okay, he’s also a very, very lame dad.
But he’s not locked into traditional parenting roles!
And with two daughters, he has experience relating to young girls that will come in handy. We may see an uptick in his preteen characters as he prepares.
But he already seems to be a natural at helping young girls. Check out this “Ask a Grown Man” video, where he was asked to give advice on crushes and self-esteem.
“Whenever you’re feeling insecure, just remember you are pretty. And you are interesting. And you are cool.”
And he’s already tight with kids’ favorite stars.
Jimmy is so good at sharing the love. Both with his daughters and with us. Which is what really matters, isn’t it? (I’m talking about the “us” part, obviously.)
