Thomas Gibson is someone I don’t have to think about because I don’t watch Criminal Minds, as Criminal Minds and all other CBS dramas all mysteriously have millions and millions of viewers and none of us knows a single one of them. What I know him from is the titular “and Greg” of Dharma and Greg. And things do not appear to be going well for him.

Production sources tell TMZ … the actor was directing and acting in a scene a few weeks back when he got in a creative dispute with one of the writers. We’re told the argument escalated and Thomas exploded in anger, kicking the writer in the leg.

We’re told the writer was not about to let it go … he called his agent, who then called network honchos. At that point the network had to take action and suspended Thomas … it’s unclear for how long, but he’s been gone for 2 weeks.

TWO WEEKS? Imagine right now you kicked you co-worker. Would you get two weeks off? NO. No you would not.

To sum up that sweet post-Dharma and Greg life: Greg = writer kicker. Dharma = screamingly accuses people of raping babies in public. And who created Dharma and Greg? Chuck Lorre. Dude has a type.
