Charming Potato was on the Howard Stern Show this morning, and among the revelations was the one in which he admitted that Emilia Clarke kind of sort of offered to have a threesome with him and his wife, Jenna Dewan. A coupe of months ago, Emilia Clarke said that she met Tatum and Dewan at a party, “And they said, ‘We call each other ‘moon of my life’ and ‘my sun and stars’ and all that. And I was like, ‘I cannot contain this. Please, can we all have something sexual together? You’re both beautiful, even just a hug.’”

Tatum, because he is male, and heterosexual, was into the idea. “Oh, come on. What guy in their right mind wouldn’t? I would put on some loin cloths and some swords or whatever to make it happen. Look, I’ll go find a dragon if you guys really want me to. Like, I’ll figure it out.”

Dewan didn’t immediately say no.

“And I’m just looking at my wife for reaction,” he told Stern. “Like, ‘I don’t know. I don’t know what’s happening. Is this happening? I think this might be happening.’”

However, Tatum added, “Jenna’s a pro. She’s just like, ‘Oh yeah, let’s do it!’ And then it never happens.”

Typical.

Tatum also revealed during the interview that he wasn’t a fan of his 2009 G.I. Joe movie. At all.

Look, I’ll be honest. I fucking hate that movie. I hate that movie,” he said. “I was pushed into doing that movie…[After] Coach Carter, they signed me for a three-picture deal … And as a young [actor], you’re like, ‘Oh my god, that sounds amazing, I’m doing that!’”

“The script wasn’t good,” he said, but admitted it could’ve been much worse. “I could have been given…I don’t know, Scream 5. I’m super lucky and blessed to have been given that film. That was really not all that bad. [But you have] no option. ‘You’re doing this or we’re gonna sue you.’”

On the other hand, everyone told him not to do 21 Jump Street, suggesting that he was too old to play a high schooler. “That’s kinda the point,” he said, insisting on taking the role so that he could be in a movie with Jonah Hill.

I really just wanted to work with Jonah [Hill], and that’s the God’s honest truth. He called up and actually said, ‘This is a terrible idea.’ And I was like, ‘Okay, so what’s the movie?’ And he was like, ‘No, no, it’s a really terrible idea, but I think you’d be great in it.’”

And he was, and the rest is history.
