Can We Talk About What a Pathetic, Lousy Human Being This Suspended ESPN Reporter Is?

Over the last couple of days, I’ve seen a variation of this headline several times across social media: “ESPN Reporter Britt McHenry Berates Towing Employee.” I didn’t pay it much attention because I don’t care about ESPN reporters (unless they’re covering Monday Night Football), and I just assumed it was a dude yelling at a tow truck operator because he got his car towed.

It’s not. It’s so much worse. Britt is a woman (maybe that should’ve been obvious), but she’s also a terrible, terrible human being who did more than just yell at a tow truck driver for towing her car. She ridiculed, humiliated, and mocked a woman — who was just doing her goddamn job — for being poor, for being uneducated, and for not being as good as Britt McHenry, literally one of the ugliest people (on the inside) I have ever encountered on the Internet.

I watched this video and my hands literally shook with rage.

You are a pathetic human being Britt McHenry, and the tow lot attendant is a goddamn saint for being patient with you and not losing it herself. You are a heinous, classist, petty, awful person, and the fact that ESPN only suspended her for a week instead of immediately firing you almost upsets me as much. Why would anyone want this kind of person working them? You can lose your temper, you can get angry because you had to pay a stupid fine to collect your car because you were irresponsible enough to get it towed, but how dare Britt McHenry make fun of the attendant’s weight and her teeth and insinuate that she is somehow better because she’s on fucking television.

What an appalling woman.
