Adam Pally's Interview on 'Conan' Is a Delightfully Amusing 'Trainwreck'

There’s no tentpole superhero movie being released this weekend, so for guests, the late-night talk shows apparently have to settle for stars of other movies dressed up as superheroes. In the case of Adam Pally on Conan, he arrives dressed as Deadpool. And also Daredevil. The swamp butt Pally must have beneath those two costumes could probably irrigate a small garden.

It does make for an entertaining interview, although — unlike when Mark Ruffalo sits down for an interview — we’re much less likely to get major spoilers for the biggest movie of the summer. It is, as Pally says repeatedly, a trainwreck interview, but an amusing trainwreck.

Pally, by the way, appeared on Conan to plug his movie Most Likely to Murder, out on iTunes today. It played several times at SXSW, but while our entire contingent was initially excited to see it because we love Pally and Rachel Bloom, after watching the trailer, we repeatedly went out of our way to avoid it. But, the reviews are pretty good, so maybe the trailer was misleading?
